My Daughter is 2 1/2 years old and still uses a pacifier, is that normal and what should I do?

I say its not normal, though you see it more and more now a days. Just take it away from her. I know that sounds really harsh, but it won't take that long for her to get over it. I know that its going to be not only hard on her but on you also. you need to take all pacifiers and get rid of them so that it isn't easy for her to find another. This will benefit her teeth. It isn't just something that they say when it comes to messing with the teeth. I had just had my daughter in for her dentist appoint. And there was a boy there who sucked on his thumb. His mother did nothing to stop him, and now he is 4. His teeth were so messed up it wasn't even funny. I mean bad too. It was so noticeable the moment he would even talk. The same thing can happen to a child who is on a pacifier. I would hate to see that happen to any child. I know you would to. Like i said, just take it away. Dispose of all pacifiers.
