Why weren't Polish communist leaders charged with crimes against Catholicism?

Why is it that the communists were not prosecuted at all for their crimes against the Catholic Church? Those godless s should have been scourged to death (if you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the Pion of the Christ, the part where they whip Jesus with metal hooks) for the evil things that they did in Poland. I am a right wing reactionary, and I have no sympathy for those people. If the UN was any good, it would have gone after those people after the Soviet collapse.
